 Unlike any other line, the SlickStream has a unique coloured section that is designed to present you with a ‘hauling zone’ and an excellent guide to your retrieving point for your next cast. This being particularly helpful when fishing at night. The hauling zone has been carefully measured to help you optimise loading of the rod and therefore improving your hauling ability to its full potential. The sizes currently available in WHITE with ORANGE indicator section. WF 6 & 7 We have tested these lines, using a Sage XP 10ft #7 and a New Orvis ZERO Gravity 10ft #7. The results were excellent; we used the 7-weight line for the test. I found that the claims for easy loading within the hauling zone to be absolutely right, and when used into wind the turn over and distance achieved was more than I could have expected.

I have also tried the line on a New Orvis Western 10ft #8. The same line did load well and by adjusting the point of the hauling zone with more of it in the hand than with a #7 I found it performed very well indeed. Overall, I would recommend this line it loads well, shoots easily, and is very smooth. It is good value and with care would last as well as all quality fly lines.
